The construction of the deck structures was initiated in January as part of the renovation of the Brussels outer ring road (R0). The project is currently in its first phase – at the junction leading to Zaventem Airport, Belgium’s main international airport.

This ambitious project aims to improve road traffic and mobility, as well as the quality of life for businesses and residents in Diegem and Zaventem.

Once completed, the project will feature several eco-friendly innovations, including pedestrian access, cycle paths, green spaces and canals. These features will reduce environmental impact and optimise traffic flow at one of Belgium’s most critical junctions.
